Recently, Charles Schwab conducted a survey of highly engaged Americans, seeking to understand how they take ownership in their lives and engage with their investments.
The results surprised us. An overwhelming majority identified themselves as planners. On one hand these people were highly engaged in their lives, families and careers, but when it came to the management of their money the results were startlingly different. It made us wonder: Why aren’t people more inquisitive about their financial matters?
